Lead with a subject
Start prompts with a concrete noun - 'obsidian monolith', 'liquid chrome ribbon', 'aurora over dunes'. Abstract adjectives alone rarely land.
Name 2-3 colors
Explicit palettes ('deep indigo, ember orange, ivory') produce cohesive results. Skip 'colorful' - it usually means muddy.
Add one mood word
Cinematic, meditative, brutalist, ethereal, nocturnal. One is enough - stacking moods dilutes each of them.
Match the sound
Slow ambient pairs with wide negative space and soft gradients. Rhythmic tracks pair with geometry, grain, and higher contrast.
Iterate, do not restart
Nail the composition first, then append lighting, texture, or lens details. Rewriting from scratch wastes your daily quota.
